Companions Connect

One of the biggest enemies to the corruption of the Catholic hierarchy or the ever-present danger posed to children is when good people talk to one another. Honest communication is vital to the exposure of the truth and the path toward recovery and safe environments.

The corrupt hierarchy doesn't want the survivors or laity to talk. That's why they respond to lawsuits with a quick offer to settle. That's why there are so many sermons about the evils of "gossiping". That's why pastors are now encouraging parishioners to "shun" anyone who doesn't 'toe the line'. Corruption only thrives in environments of silence and secrecy. We are here to do our part in shining a big bright light on it. But we can't do it without your help. Please see below for ways in which you might contribute to our efforts.

Share your Story

Words cannot express how grateful - and in awe - we are that so many survivors have found the courage to share their story publicly. We appreciate that - though beneficial for the healing process - it can be very trying and exhausting emotionally. It also has tremendous value toward protecting children today and in the future so that others may be spared the violence and consequential suffering you have been forced to endure. If you care to have your story or your thoughts regarding the crimes committed against you and your healing process, please mail or email it to our addresses at the bottom of this page. You may also send a photo of yourself, if you like - either as a child or one more recent. We promise to handle your material respectfully and with care.

Share your Thoughts

Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Kansas, Minnesota. Survivors and Advocates are all over the nation. Some have blogs, written books, directed documentaries, granted television interviews, or written letters to newspaper editors. But there are plenty more people who have plenty more to say. We invite anyone and everyone to share any thoughts you have about any related topics to be posted on this site, most likely on our Commentary page. What is your argument for abolishing the statute of limitations on child sexual abuse cases? Is it a waste of time trying to get through to these cardinals, or not? If you've left the Church, why? If you remain in the Church, why? If you've got a two-minute sermon or a 20-stanza poem, send it in and we'll post it for you and for our visitors. See our address at the bottom of the page.
